摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a circuit trouble due to abnormal conditions by a method wherein a fuse element is series-connected to a positive temperature coefficient thermistor, and they are housed in an insulated case. CONSTITUTION:A positive temperature coefficient thermistor 1 is pinched with terminal plates 3a and 2b, fuse elements 3 are superposingly series-connected through the intermediary of the terminal plate 2b, and an elastic terminal plate 4 is connected to the element 3 in a superposing manner. The above-mentioned three terminal plates 2a, 2b and 4 are housed respectively in an insulation case having holes with one end opened, from which the terminal plates are projected, and the thermistor 1 and the terminal plate 2a are positioned on the opened side of the case 5. An insulating plate 6 and a heat radiating plate 7 are installed on the opened side of the case 3 in a superposing manner, and the terminal plate 2a and the heat radiating plate 7 are insulated with the insulating plate 6. When voltage is applied to power source terminals A and B, heat is generated by the thermistor itself, a pilot lamp PL is lighted up, and the device beings to work.
