<p>A friction clutch (C) comprise a clutch case mounted on a drive shaft (12) and including first friction disks (14), and a holder (17) mounted on a driven shaft (13) and including second friction disks (16) arranged between the first friction disks (14). The first and second friction disks are urged into pressure contact with each other by compression springs (19) extending between the holder (17) and a shift member (20). The shift member (20) includes a periphery extending to a position adjacent an axial end face of the holder. An unrotatable friction ring (25) is disposed between the periphery of the shift member (20) and the end face of the holder (17). The friction ring (25) is sandwiched under pressure between the shift member (20) and holder (17) when the shift member (20) moves to a declutching position.</p> |
