A rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition is a composite of a styrene-based resin as a continuum of the matrix phase and a diene-based rubbery polymer as a dispersed particulate phase in the matrix, wherein the average particle diameter of the particles of the rubbery polymer is in the range from 0.08 to 1.00 mu m, the peripheral parameter of the particles is in the range from 0.1 to 2.5 ( mu m)<-><1>.(% by weight)<-><1> and the relaxation time T2 is in the range from 300 to 2000 mu seconds.
