PURPOSE:To enable high-density recording with an excellent pit error rate in an optical recording medium having grooves and address formats of CLV system by recording address pits by pit-spacing modulation method and by recording data pits by pit length modulation method. CONSTITUTION:A stamper is manufactured to have address pits for land recording in spiral tracking grooves of CLV system by modulating the pit length. Then an acryl disk substrate is formed by transferring the grooves of the stamper into acryl photopolymer. A cyclohexane solution of indole-cyanine dye is applied thereon by spin coating to form a recording layer. Same two substrates thus formed are stuck with facing the recording layers inside to constitute an air sandwich-type optical recording medium for comparation. Then a stamper having address pits with modulated pit spacing is used in the same way above explained to produce an optical recording medium for comparation. |
