PURPOSE:To prevent flicker of display and dispersion of the spaces among pixels by disposing a resistor element on at least one of an electrical wiring and each surface conductive electron emission element. CONSTITUTION:A resistor element 19 is disposed on at least one of electrical wirings 11 and each surface conductive electron emission element. Namely, a substrate surface is sufficiently cleaned in advance. Element electrodes 12 are formed on the cleaned substrate surface. Then the electrical wirings 11 are formed so as to get electrical connection to one side of element electrode 12. After the electrodes 12 are formed, organic palladium is applied therebetween. Thereafter an electron emission section 13 is formed by baking them together. A metal coated resistor element 13 is then formed between the electrical wirings 11 and the element electrode 12.
