PURPOSE: To easily lift and transfer a patient in a bed by providing a lifting device with many C-litter shape ribs with bended forms at ends and moving the ribs from only one side of the patient and below the patient in a circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION: A carriage 23 engaged with a guide rib 21 has a mounting plate 24 outside of a central hollow pole 20. A supporting body 27 for patient consists of a rib supporting plate 28 having a hook 29. A C-letter shape hook 29 is suspended at a fringe part of the mounting plate 24 to make positioning thereof easy. A mounting plate 39 engaged with a convex surface of a relative rib 36 keeps on pressing brake pad 40 until it is released by a release trigger 41 moving around the rod 33 but a release trigger 41 supports a supporting arm 42 having a lip tip 43 which can be engaged with a notch 44 of a brake mounting plate 39. A nylon roller 34 is rotatable and slidable on a rod 33 in such a way that the rib 36 can be positioned at a place most appropriate and convenient under the patient along the rod 33. |
