The anchor nut for riveted, welded etc. fastening is designed e.g. as a weldable threaded sleeve (1) and has at its end remote from a welding collar (6) a protective head (3) which can be separated by a notched annular groove (4). The protective head is pref. associated with a break-off lever, partly enclosing it and provided with an inserting cavity which takes up the protective head up to the groove. USE/ADVANTAGE - For building assemblies, car mfr. etc., with protection against penetration of coating material.
