The floating body (1) is shaped like the hull of a ship would normally navigate the waters where the mines have been laid, but considerably smaller. The swirl producers in the form of pump wheels (4) with vertical rotary shafts (5) are on the underside of the hull . They give rise to a pressure field which corresponds to that in the area of the bow wave, the stern wave, and along the hull of a real ship in commensurately reduced form. The pump wheels (4) have blades so formed that they set a lot of water in rotation around their axes (5) but without any water being ejected outwards from the thus formed ring. A motor (9) drives a common drive shaft (8) at one end, with a cone wheel gear (6,7) between the drive shaft and the individual shafts (5) of the pump wheels (4).
