PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of an ultrasonic diagnosis over a wide range of a subject by connecting plural microvibrator assemblies, forming a probe flexible and in a plate shape, and tightly fitting the probe on to the subject surface. CONSTITUTION:For an ultrasonic probe P, the ultrasonic wave transmitting a receiving surface of plural microvibrator assemblies 1 is bonded to a proper flexible sheet 2 with a flexibility, and simultaneously, a silicon acoustic matched layer 3 is bonded to the sheet 2. A protecting cover 4 to mechanically and electrically protect them in covering the whole microvibrator assembly 1 is provided, and the acoustic matched layer 3 is fixed at a subject surface S side on the lower surface. By such a constitution, the probe can be used in selecting one of plural microvibration assemblies 1 according to a necessary diagnostic part, and the ultrasonic image of the diagnostic part in the wide range can be obtained without moving the probe P. |
