PURPOSE:To suppress the deterioration of a detection error and the small noise component of detected motion vector by providing a coring circuit, and applying the coring processing of appropriate size to the detected motion vector according to the size of the detected motion vector or S/N of an input picture signal. CONSTITUTION:The motion vector obtained at every field by a motion vector detecting device A 9 is inputted to an integration circuit 11 and the coring circuit 10. As for integration, perfect integration can be executed, but in order to prevent the saturation of a signal at the time of the generation of offset, imperfect integration with signal drop-out is executed. The motion vector integrated by the integration circuit 11 is inputted to a coring value determination circuit A 12. The coring circuit 10 applies the coring processing to input motion vectors vectx, vecty by each coring value corex, corey respectively, and outputs the motion vector. Thus, the noise component of the motion vector is removed. |
