DETECTING CIRCUIT FOR PEAK POSITION OF CORRELATION SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To enable correct data demodulation by detecting the peak position in a specific data section of the correlation signal between a received signal and a code sequence with specific code length. CONSTITUTION:The peak value of the correlation signal between the received signal and the code sequence with the specific code length is detected and a counter 66 which counts a clock signal CK counts the clock signal CK from the point of time when the peak value appears in a data section to the point of time when a signal ED indicating the end of the data section is supplied. Its counted value is latched by a latch circuit 67 and indicates the peak position PP. Namely, the counted value indicates the peak position in the data section. Consequently, the demodulation processing is performed correctly.
