PURPOSE:To obtain the incombustible title composition consisting of 1,1,2- trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and other two kind of compounds, having azeotropic composition, capable of reducing the amount used and suitable as a substitute fluorocarbon and as cleaning solvent. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition consisting of 50wt.% 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2- trifluoroethane (R113), 21wt.% 1,2-dichloro-1,1-difluoroethane and either one compound of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, 2,2-dimethylbutane, 1-chloropropane and cyclopentene which is different in the ratio according to the above- mentioned substance used and used at a ratio of 29 wt.% in the case of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene. The composition can be used as heat medium, foaming agent, etc., as same as a conventional fluorocarbon and especially when the composition is used as cleaning solvent, it is useful as a substitute for R113, since the composition has cleaning power higher than that of a conventional single R113 and especially suitable as cleaning agent for IC parts, etc., and water removing agent, etc. Furthermore, the composition has less change of composition in recycle. |
