CONSTITUTION:During ordinary operation, an electronic control circuit 38 computes the reference injection time Tp through each output from an air-flow meter 12 and a distributor 14, and the effective synchronous injection time gammal is computed by compensating said time Tp in response to signals from other various sensors 16, 22 etc. On another hand, at the time of starting up the engine, the effective synchronous injection time gammal can be obtained by respectively reading out initial values of the injection time when starting, and of the accelerating incremental compensating factor when warming up in response to the cooling water temperature from the determined table which is memorized into ROM 56 in the control circuit 38. And in this event, the accelerating incremental compensating factor when warming up is damped every synchronous injection for example at 15% of damping proportion, by which the starting ability of the engine can be improved.
