摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the unnecessary delay of acceleration, by providing a valve opening time control means for making the delay of opening of a second throttle valve from that of a first throttle valve, larger when the temperature of atmosphere or an engine is low than when the temperature is high. CONSTITUTION:A first throttle valve 2 is movingly coupled to an accelerator pedal. A second throttle valve 3 is opened after the first throttle valve 2, by a moving connection mechanism including a spring 4, and a diaphragm unit 11 which restricts the sharp opening action of the mechanism. The end protrusion 8 of a second throttle valve lever 7 is slidably supported with a rod 6 on the end of a first throttle valve lever 5. The spring 4 is interposed between the end protrusion 8 and one end of the rod 6. The second throttle valve lever 7 is coupled to the diaphragm 13 of the diaphragm unit 11 through a bar 12. The spring 4 is made of a shape memory alloy to control the delay of the opening time of the second throttle valve 3 depending on the temperature around an engine.
