PURPOSE:To obtain firm joint and ease the work by installing a distance piece, which prevents the deformation of both side walls, in a hollow part of a hollow, synthetic resin structural material, inserting a bolt into this distance piece, and tightening another structural material. CONSTITUTION:In a joining structure 10 made of a synthetic resin structural material, a hole, which penetrates both side walls, is made in a hollow, square pipe made of FRP, which is used as a hollow, synthetic resin structural material 11, and a distance piece 13, which is made of either metal or synthetic resin and whose ends are located on the surface of this side wall, is inserted into this hole. Another structural material 12, which is made of, for example, a metallic angle or an FRP-made angle, is put on the outside of the distance piece 13 of the hollow, synthetic resin structural material 11. Then, a bolt 14 is inserted into this material 12, so that the member 12 is tightened by the bolt 14. Thus, the structural material can firmly be tightened by a bolt without causing deformation or slackening. |
