PURPOSE: To manufacture a filler member having properties similar to a cushion by forming nuclei of a soft foaming material having no propellant and forming a synthetic resin skin of an integral material containing no propulsion gas. CONSTITUTION: A first flow mold 10 has two split forms 12, 14. A soft foaming material is introduced to a first mold cavity chamber 16 to be fully filled in the chamber 16. After a reaction of the material is finished, the forms 12, 14 are separated, and nuclei 22 are removed. A second flow mold 28 has two split forms 30, 32. Nuclei 22 are disposed in a second mold cavity chamber 34. An integrated material is introduced into the residual chamber 34 through an inlet passage 38, and an overall circumference is covered with the integrated material 44. A product 46 to be a filler has relatively soft nuclei 22 and a skin 50 made of an integrated material 44 having a relatively large density. |
