PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a vase in a short period of time out of a plastic sheet, which can be stored by piling up and make their storage space smaller, by a method wherein softened folding parts are produced by pressing a fold forming hot blade against the expected folding parts of the plastic sheet so as to be folded under hot state into the shape of the vase and held said shape for the predetermined period of time during cooling. CONSTITUTION:A fold forming hot blade 2 is equipped with edges 4, which abut against the excepted folding parts 3 on a plastic sheet 1 and in which rod heaters 5 are imbedded. In addition, a handle 6 is provided at the upper part of the hot blade 2. A frame 7 to position the plastic sheet 1 is formed to a shape, in which the hot blade 2 snugly enters, so as to highly accurately abut the blade edges 4 against the expected folding parts 3 of the plastic sheet 1 at all times. By inserting the hot blades 2, which are preheated by the rod heaters 5, in the frame 7, the expected folding parts 3 of the plastic sheet 1 is pressed by the blade edges 4 of the hot blade 2 and softened so as to form folding parts 8. The softened folding parts 8 is folded under hot state so as to produce the shape of a vase. |
