REPLICA SHEET, PRODUCTION THEREOF AND PROJECTION TYPE TELEVISION SET USING SAME

PURPOSE:To obtain a replica sheet having high reliability with satisfactory transferability by forming a penetrating layer of an adhesion accelerator on the surface of a transparent plastic sheet to improve the adhesive property of the plastic sheet to photosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a transparent plastic sheet 1 is coated with an acrylic or methacrylic compd. well dissolving the plastic sheet 1 as an adhesion accelerator 6 to form a penetrating layer 7. Photosetting resin 3 for a replica is held between the plastic sheet 1 and a matrix 2 and set by irradiation with energy beams 4. The matrix 2 is then taken off to obtain a replica sheet 8. Since the surface of the plastic sheet 1 is previously swollen with the adhesion accelerator 6, the adhesive property of the sheet 1 to the photosetting resin 3 is improved. The exfoliation of the resin 3 from the sheet 1 is prevented and the optically transparent replica sheet 8 is obtd. with superior transferability.
