PURPOSE:To provide a small-type ink jet recorder free of pulsation and not affected by environmental conditions by generating a pressure for ink jet recording by a centrifugal force arising from the rotation of an ink. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 101 is disposed on the inside of a ring-shaped tubular container 102, in which a magnetic ink 103 is placed. The ink 103 in the container 102 is attracted by the magnet 101, and when the magnet 101 is rotated, the ink 103 is made to start rotating. At the start of the operation, a force exerted on the ink is directed toward the magnet 101, but when the rotational frequency is increased, the centrifugal force acting on the ink becomes greater than the magnetic force, so that a force directed outward from the center of rotation is exerted on the ink. The outward force is used as a pressure for supplying the ink to a recording head or as a force for ejecting the ink from the head, thereby performing ink jet recording. Thus, a constant pressure free of pulsation or the like is supplied, an ink jet recorder can be made smaller in size, and the effects of environmental conditions can be evaded. |
