PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of four wheel steering device by controlling variable steering ratio mechanism to bring the steering ratio to zero upon fault of steering ratio detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Upon fault of steering ratio detecting means 5, fault detecting means 6 will function to drive zero steering ratio control means 7. Said means 7 will control variable steering ratio mechanism 4 to bring the steering ratio to zero. |
