PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic evaporation wire which can increase a loading quantity of an evaporating metal by winding an evaporating metallic wire a core body formed by twisting plural metallic wires of a high melting point, together with a section metallic wire of a higher melting point than that of said wire, and also winding a guard of a metallic wire of a high melting point. CONSTITUTION:A core body 1 is formed by twisting plural metallic wires 1a, 1a whose melting point is >=2,500 deg.C, and to its core body 1, necessary pieces of evaporating metallic wires 2 of Ni, etc. are wound together with a section metallic wire 3 of a metal of a higher melting point than that of said metallic wire 2, and also on its winding, a guard 4 by a metallic wire whose melting point is >=2500 deg.C is wound, by which a metallic evaporating wire is obtained. According to said constitution, a drop in case when the metallic wire 2 which is subjected to heating and evaporation has been melted is prevented, a loading quantity of an evaporating metal is increased, and also an evaporation result can be improved. As for said core body 1, section metallic wire 3 and guard 4, a metallic wire of W, Mo, Ta, etc., can be used suitably. |
