<p>A beam support construction, e.g. on a building roof, includes a support beam (1) with coupling bracket (2) for a support cable connected e.g. to a hoist unit. A shock absorbing unit for the support cable has two end supports (3,4) on which a deformation strip (5) is positioned. A bolt (6) which passes through an aperture (7) includes eye (8), between aperture (7) and strip (5). It fits a spacer bush (10) which limits the movement of strip(5). A safety cable for the hoist unit is connected to eye (8).</p> |
