The barbecue pack is flat in shape contg. incandescent components for grilling meat, fish, etc. Solid fuel in a wrapping comprises briquettes of charcoal, anthracite, wood chips or shavings or sawdust, being pressed or glued to give any desired shape. The solid fuel, forming the incandescent components, are immersed during prodn. in semi-heavy mineral oil and then packed in an airtight plastic inner sack. The latter is wrapped in an outer packing having one or more wicks.
