PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the between-axis distance between an engine and a compressor by installing the first and the second compressors onto a cradle synchronized with an engine and an isolator in free vibration and utilizing one receiving pulley as idle pulley, in the cooling device for a large-sized vehicle such as bus. CONSTITUTION:The driving power of an engine 2 drives the first compressor 3 through a driving pulley 2, belt 6a, and the first receiving pulley 3a. Further, said driving power drives the second compressor 4 through a belt 2b and a receiving pulley 4a. When the driving pulley 2a swings in the direction A because of the chassis vibration, the first and the second compressors 3 and 4 are pulled in the direction C, and a cradle 5 turns in the direction E, having a supporting shaft 9 as fulcrum, and the elastic member 22 of an isolator 17 shrinks. In the reverse vibration, the cradle 5 turns in the direction F by the repulsive force of the elastic member 22. With such constitution, the between- axis distance between an engine and the compressor is kept constant. |
