<p>PURPOSE:To effectively carry out aeration when sewage is aerated and agitated by limiting air supply at a water level when scum is sucked and crushed and lifting the air supply limitation at the operation minimum water level. CONSTITUTION:The aerator 2 is set on a rack 3 at the bottom of a sewage storage pit 1. The aerator 2 is formed by an impeller 22 to be driven by a submergible motor 21, an air pipe 23 and a flow straightening cylinder 28. The rotating shaft of the motor 21 is hollowed, air is sucked from the air pipe 23 opened above the water surface at all times and discharged into the cylinder 28, and the sewage introduced from a suction port 29 is aerated, discharged from a discharge port 30 and circulated in the pit. A drainage pump 4 is driven or stopped by the detection signal of a level gage. When the scum is increased to a specified amt., the air supply is limited to increase the scum suction force to the cylinder 28, and scum crushing priority operation is carried out. When the level of the sewage is lowered to the operation minimum level, the air supply limitation is lifted. Consequently, aeration and scum crushing are continuously and efficiently carried out.</p> |
