<p>PURPOSE:To allow a card possessor to know the number of points of a card at a glance to make a shopping plan in an easy manner by a method wherein a signal corresponding to the purchase price of items is recorded on a magnetic recording layer on the surface of the card, and stamps are printed on checkerboard squares printed on the card surface by the number corresponding to the recorded signal. CONSTITUTION:A stamp card is inserted in an external reader/writer in a direction shown by an arrow 6. Stamps 5 are printed on squares 3 on the card 1 by the number in accordance with a signal recorded on a magnetic stripe 2 by the reader/writer. When a signal is again recorded on the magnetic stripe 2 by the external reader/writer, the signal which has been recorded on the card 1 by the external reader/writer in the previous recording is read by the external reader/writer. In accordance with the read signal, the external reader/ writer detects the position of the last stamp applied in the previous printing to print stamps from a square next to the last stamp position in the previous printing by the number corresponding to a signal presently recorded on the magnetic stripe 2. In this manner, a card possessor can know the number of points of the card at a glance to make a shopping plan in an easy manner.</p> |
