<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the clogging of an ejection hole owing to deposition and sticking of slaked lime scale in the ejection hole of a rotary disc and to maintain a good HCl removal rate for a long time by setting the flow rate and concn. of slaked lime slurry and the diameter of a rotary disc at the values that satisfy a specific equation. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of removing HCl from waste gases of frequent fluctuations in load such as waste gases of incineration furnaces with a semidry type hydrogen chloride removing device 1 of a rotary disc system, the flow rate F [kg/hr] of the slaked lime slurry to be supplied from a rotary disc 3, the concn. C [wt%] of the slaked lime slurry, and the outside diameter [cm] of the rotary disc are so set as to satisfy the equation FXC<1.2>>D<2.8>. More specifically, in the case of supplying the slurry of a low concn. contg. less solids that can be seed crystals, the deposition of slaked lime owing to an increase in the temp. of the slurry per se is prevented by increasing the flow rate F of the slurry. If it is not possible to feed the slurry in large volume, and the increase in the temp. of the slurry is not interferred, the solids that can be seed crystals are increased by increasing the concn. C of the slurry, whereby the sticking of the solids of the slaked lime in the ejection hole is prevented.</p> |
