The floor element has a so-called sandwich structure. The surface of the element is given a concave shape such that an insulating layer functioning as intermediate layer is made concave at the surface before lamination and the top layer is formed against the insulating layer under pressure and maintains its shape after the glue has hardened. It is preferable for the top layer to be made up of two layers which are glued together in the laminating stage. It is possible to provide the floor element with heating.
