PURPOSE:To improve usability, conveniency and the sureness of information by informing the information of a transmission result to a destination to a telephone set specified by a transmission side operator's selection through voice or informing image information to a facsimile terminal arranged on the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:When transmission is completed, whether the transmission is sound information or not is checked, and when it is sound information, a voice output part 13 is commanded to transmit transmission result information indicating the completion of transmission and the information is similarly informed to the telephone set through voice. In the case of image information, the information indicating the completion of transmission is written in output control data obtained from a hard disk 17 to form a transmission result information telegram and the telegram is transmitted to the facsimile terminal by a normal facsimile communication procedure. Consequently, usability, conveniency and the sureness of the information of a transmission result can be improved. |
