PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of a dustproof member at the time of maintenance and to allow the occasional and easy cleaning of the contamination of the dustproof member at the time of ordinary use by mounting cleaning members which cleans the outside surface of the dustoproof member simultaneously with the movement of a shutter member which opens a light exit window at the time of ordinary use and closes a light exit window at the time of maintenance to the above-mentioned shutter member. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the photosensitive body 11 is exposed by opening the shutter member 45 at the time of the ordinary use and irradiating the surface with laser light through the light exit window 44. On the other hand, the shutter member 45 is closed to cover the dustproof member 43 and to close the light exit window 44 to shut off the laser light at the time of the maintenance. The outside surface of the dustproof member 43 is cleaned by the cleaning members 46, 47 simultaneously with the movement of the shutter member 45. The contamination of the dustproof member 43 is prevented at the time of the maintenance in this way and the occasional and easy cleaning of the contamination of the dustproof member 43 generated at the time of the ordinary use is executed.
