PURPOSE:To obtain the firmware more than a control storage capacity, by testing whether or not a microprogram executing an instruction or a control routine is in a control storage with the microprogram. CONSTITUTION:One entry of a control storage address conversion table 11 consists of a relocation address and a V-bit indicating the relocation address and the effectiveness of the entry. The relocation address represents the address specifically given at each one word of a microprogram and the difference of the address actually provided on the control storage device. An address register (CASR)12 to access a control storage device 17 and a register (CSDR) 18 to store the data read out from the device 17 are provided, the content of the CSDR18 is interpreted and the operation designated with one microprogram word is executed. |
