A method of controlling numerically controlled machines for automatic machining of mechanical components is characterized by: automation of machining without the need for intervention by the operator, thus dissociating man and machine; taking into account, during machining, the dimension and the tolerance on each dimension at maximum material; allowing for automatic positioning in the tolerance range and taking into account cutting tool behaviour and/or wear when calculating the dimension to be machined; simultaneous machining of different components, the numerical control program containing macro-instructions which can relate to different components. |
