The process is designed for producing structures, in particular, building structures. It is characterized in that essentially cylindrical elements (1), each having a longitudinal passage formed therein, are superimposed and together constitute vertical columns, and that links (3) whose length is at least equal to the height of said columns are engaged into the longitudinal passage (2) of at least certain of the columns. Each link (3) is then tightened and secured longitudinally, once it has been tensioned, on the one hand, to each element (1) and, on the other hand, to lower (25) and upper anchor means located respectively below the base and above the top of the columns.
