Device for sepg. lugs (10.1) attached radially to a central casting (10) has a C-shaped frame with upper (1.1) and lower (1.2) parallel and horizontal limbs between which are located a fixed (2) and a movable (3) head. The casting (10) is clamped between these heads. A swivel axis (6) on the movable head (3) is aligned at right angles to the axis (5) of the clamping device (2, 3) and has a vertically swivable tilting lever (8) attached to it. A downward projecting pressure pin (9) is positioned on the lever between its two ends. The free end of the lever can be swivelled downwards by a power source (7) so that the pin (9) can sever the connecting web between a lug (10.1) and the casting (10) at a point where there is a weakening notch (10.2) in the web. ADVANTAGE - Sepn. of individual lugs positioned radially round a central casting is facilitated by use of mechanical rather than manual means. Use of special protection devices by the operator is also made unnecessary.
