发明名称 PARALLEL PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR COLLATION PHASE OF PRODUCTION SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the data transfer frequency and the transfer overhead while maintaining the parallelism property with a high fine grain size by scattering the tokens stored in a memory node formed on a join node output branch into plural processing elements. CONSTITUTION:The join nodes 14 are allocated to several to tens of processing elements 10 which form a loop on a hypercube. Then the tokens are successively transferred so as to have one round along a loop respectively and then inputted to all elements 10 where the join node processes are started. Thus the transfer of data is scattered to many communication lines 11 so that the communication overhead is reduced. If the elements 10 having no token collated with token are detected, the tokens are transferred and collated with each other via a subloop having the smaller length that includes no element 10. Thus the transfer of tokens is omitted to the elements 10 and therefore the transfer frequency is reduced. Furthermore the communication overhead is also reduced.
