PURPOSE:To improve the security and to facilitate the maintenance for an automatic transaction device by recording the designating information on a maintenance access range on an ID card and setting the maintenance access range via a control part of an automatic cash transaction device based on the information on the ID card read by a reading means of the transaction device. CONSTITUTION:A clerk ID card 10 contains a status code of the clerk and an access range processing table (or a processing program). An automatic cash transaction device 40 contains a reading means 42 and a decoding means 43. The information is once fetched to the device 40 from the card 10 via the means 42 and an access is carried out through the combination with the means 43. Thus the maintenance is facilitated for the device 40 with high security. |
