PURPOSE:To generate a stable trigger pulse at desired timing by regarding the specific angle of a crank mark as an origin, and previously setting a desired angle from the origin in a setter. CONSTITUTION:A trigger pulse generator 14 is provided with an origin detector 15 which inputs signals from the 1st and 3rd pulse pickups 5 and 13 and detects the prescribed position of a specific cylinder as an origin. The output of the detector 15 is supplied to a counter 17. A setter 18 is connected to the counter 17. In the setter 18, the desired number of crank pulses to be counted by the counter 17 is preset. Then, once the detector 15 detects the origin of a crank pulse by both outputs of the pickups 5 and 13, the counter 17 starts counting up and, when counting up to the number of crank pulses set in the setter 18, sends out a trigger pulse. |
