The temporary dental prosthesis, for use e.g. during times when a permanent denture is being cleaned, repaired or modified, consists of an outer surround of a supple synthetic material for the gums, a plate (6), and a dozen or so teeth which allow the wearer to speak normally. The plate is equipped with a central sucker (2) to assist its adherence to the palate. A similar denture, but without the plate and sucker, can be made for the lower jaw. ADVANTAGE - Allows denture wearer to maintain normal life when deprived of usual dentures.
