<p>PURPOSE: To position exposed images in a horizontal direction on a photographic sensitive body belt, moving in a vertical direction and to solve a problem accompanied with the deviation in the horizontal direction due to the linear movement of the belt. CONSTITUTION: These method and device for positioning the exposed images on the photographic sensitive body 12 to be hozontally shifted from the linear movement in the horizontal direction are presented. In this case, by using a target positionally corresponding to an exposed image area, the displacement in the horizontal direction of the belt 12 is detected and the position in the horizontal direction of exposure scanning is controlled. The targets are patterns for forming a line inclined with respect to the moving direction of the belt 12 and a reference line, and as a result, elapsed time while the line of the target passes through to a spatially fixed detecttion axis is charged by the displacement in the horizontal direction of the belt. The targets may take various specified patterns, are applied to the image exposure systems of a single path and multiple paths and are applied to the exposure devices of both modulated layer type and light-emitting diode type.</p> |
