<p>PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized compact spiral heat exchanger capable of heating, evaporating and circulating water in one set of steam generating heater. CONSTITUTION:A spiral heat exchanger is characterized in a constitution wherein a heat medium passage 5 consisting of a spirally wound heat transfer plate, a large diametral water circulating passage 6 at the center of a heat exchanging unit and water circulating passages 7 around the water circulating passage 6 are provided as the heat exchanging unit 4 for effecting heat exchange between water and heat medium in a steam generating heater 1 provided with a water pouring port 2 at the lower part thereof and a steam discharging port 3 at the upper end of the same.</p> |
