LUBRICANT FOR HOT ROLLING

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title lubricant which is improved in seizure resistance and can prevent a slip between a rolled material and rolling rolls. CONSTITUTION:The title lubricant comprises a lubricating oil for rolling containing 5-50wt.% ceramic powder having a Vickers hardness of 1500 or higher. The ceramic powder in the lubricant supplied into a roll bite prevents the metal touch between a rolled material and rolling rolls to thereby prevent the seizure. It also enhances the friction between a rolled material and rolling rolls, thus preventing the rolled material from slipping.
