Coffer combination for insulating radiators, by means of which the front side of a radiator is insulated without reducing the heating efficiency of the radiator. The coffer combination has been constructed so that sheet metal slats 1 fastened in its longitudinal direction in the end depressions 3 of a coffer casing 2 are folded at their ends, so that the folds 13 of the upper edges lift the upper edge of the sheet metal slat 1 towards the edge 17 of the casing 2, and the folds 8 of the lower edges define the distance of the lower edge of the sheet metal slat 1 from the casing 2, in that the spring force of the sheet metal slat 1 presses the end of the sheet metal slat 1 tightly into the end depression and that the lower edge 3 of the sheet metal slat has been bent to a flap 5, which defines the minimum distance of the centre part of the sheet metal slat 1 from the casing 2, and to a flap 6 aligned in the opposite direction, which defines the minimum distance of the upper edge of the sheet metal slat 1 from the lower edge of the sheet metal slat 1 situated above. <IMAGE>
