PURPOSE:To allow normal image editing operation when either the editing area setting or the process condition setting is performed at first by instructing whether a coordinate signal from a coordinate input part is for specifying an editing region or for setting process conditions in the coordinate input part. CONSTITUTION:The device possesses a control part composed of a CPU 25, a ROM 26 and a RAM 27, and for the control part, a tablet plate 4 is connected through a tablet input/output circuit 28 and a touch pen 22 is connected through an I/O circuit 29. When editing area setting mode is set by the touch pen 22 and a prescribed area of an original is appointed, the editing area is specified. When editing process condition selecting mode is set by the tablet plate 4 and a desired editing function is selected, editing is performed for the specified editing area, and conversely, when the original process condition selecting mode is set at first, and the editing function is selected, then the editing area is specified by setting the editing area setting mode using the touch pen 22, the desired editing is performed. Thus, the editing area setting mode or the original process condition selecting mode is optionally selected and easy image editing operation is realized. |
