A detachable vertical pillar 11 for a loading platform with a stay 16 supported thereby for a tarpaulin or the like. The pillar is pivotably mounted on the loading platform and is fixable to the latter and is provided with a locking mechanism 12 for connection of a platform flap on both sides of the pillar. In order to achieve locking of the stay 16 to the pillar at the same time as the latter is locked to the platform flaps, each flap locking mechanism 12 is provided its own locking bolt 20, arranged to interact in mutual independence with a locking element 19 attached to the stay 16, more precisely to an extended section 17 thereof, which section is brought to bear against the pillar 11. <IMAGE> |
