PURPOSE:To enable a weather-resistant film to be formed using no solvent and removed easily after being used by emulsifying in water a solid component comprising a specific petroleum-fraction wax, an oxygen-contg. wax, an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer, and a metal salt of a higher fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:A solid component is prepd. by mixing: 100 pts.wt. petroleum- fraction wax with an m.p. of 50-90 deg.C, pref. 65-85 deg.C (e.g. paraffine wax); 20-75 pts.wt. pref. 30-60 pts.wt., oxygen-contg. wax with an oxygen content of at least 3.0wt.% and an m.p. of 50-85 deg.C, pref. obtd. by reacting 100 pts.wt. mixture comprising 10-80wt.% petroleum-fraction wax having an m.p. of 50-85 deg.C and 90-20wt.% polyolefin wax having an m.p. of 36-120 deg.C and 5-50 double bonds per 1000 carbon atoms with 3-25 pts.wt. unsatd. polycarboxylic acid; 10-50 pts.wt., pref. 25-40 pts.wt., ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer having an MW of 200-20000; and 5-30 pts.wt., pref. 10-20 pts.wt., metal salt of a higher fatty acid and/or metal-modified rigid wax. 100 pts.wt. resulting solid component is mixed with 1-20 pts.wt. emulsifier and emulsified in water.
