<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the weightlifting training device of an almost infinitely variable minimum resistance power by providing it with a supporting frame, a horizontal shaft, a bearing member, a fixed disk, the first radial torque arm, a connecting means of connecting the first torque arm with the fixed disk at a predetermined position and the first weight member. CONSTITUTION: The position of the first weight member 80 along the first torque arm 76 contributes the establishment of the maximum length of a moment arm, the first weight member 80 actuates upon a shaft 54 through the minimum length of the moment arm. The position of a circular arc shown by the movement of the first weight member 80 is determined by the initial position of the first torque arm 76. When the first torque arm 76 and the first weight member 80 are in the initial position and the shaft 54 is rotated toward a counter-clockwise, the force of the negative moment of a reducing degree is given upon the shaft 54 by the first weight member 80. Thereby, actually the reduced amount of a rotation given by a weight supporting base 28 is only added on the force of resisting the shaft 54 for giving the reduced amount of an additive resistant force upon the shaft 54. When the shaft 54 is rotated at 90 deg. of angle, the force of the negative moment created by the first weight member 80 is reached at a minimum degree.</p> |
