PURPOSE: To close the cans of different diameters by forming two projecting edge webs with different radial spacings to a curved front edge web, and making the radial spacing correspond approximately to the thickness of the lid edge bead. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of edge webs 10, 11 having different diameters to an edge web 9, are mounted at a side opposite to the edge web 9 of a can lid closing member 6. These edge webs 10, 11 have the radial spacing 12 to each other, and the radial spacing 12 corresponds approximately to the thickness of the lid edge bead 3 of the can 1, 2. Whereby the can lid closing member 6 can be elastically placed on a can 2 of comparatively small diameter, on a can 1 of comparatively large diameter, or on a similar matter to close the can 1, 2 or the like. |
