PURPOSE: To provide a shock-absorbing wrapping which is applied along corner portions of an article by separating the webs in the width direction at a gap enough for folding two rows of cushions toward one another. CONSTITUTION: To effectively protect a freezer 10 during its transportation, the bands 12 of pressurized and thermoformed cushions are attached along the vertical corner portions of the freezer 10. The bands 12 comprise the flat cushions 14 arranged in two rows 13 and respectively having four side faces. Two rows 13 of these cushions are separated one another by the continuous slips 15 having the width sufficient for folding the bands 12. Whereby the optimum shock-absorbing wrapping can be performed regardless of the shape of the article to which the wrapping is applied. |
