Label coder with indexed conveyor - uses coding tools in form of steel plates acting as swinging levers

The coder is equipped with a machine frame and a number of coding tools. A unit sets the coding tools in the machine according to a code contg. the information provided for the labels which are steel plates or tabs. Individual labels are transferred to a support plate and then brought into contact with the coding tools. The latter are made in the form of swinging levers, fitted with a working arm on one side with a folding tooth and a setting arm on the other side and mounting on a spindle. ADVANTAGE - Coding tools have long life and do not need to be exchanged. Worn-out parts cannot break loose to wonder about in the machine.
