<p>PURPOSE:To promote space-saving for a paper feeder by detecting a sheet mounting bottom plate or a loaded sheet top face when it is driven and lowered up to a sheet supply position, and also opening closing a cover at the more upper part than the vicinity of the supply position. CONSTITUTION:At the time of sheet supplying, a bottom plate 25 is once stopped at a position, where it is lowered as far as a portion of distance commensurate to a specified numbers of sheets 24, without lowering it at a stroke up to the lower limit. After supplying the sheets 14, the bottom plate 25 is lowered by a down switch (unillustrated herein), and when a paper detecting sensor 30 detects an upper end of each sheets 24, the plate 25 stops its descent and supplies a specified amount of sheets. With this repetition, the required supply takes place. Accordingly, since a sheep supply position comes upper than a lower limit detecting sensor 29, a cover 27 is set to setup height of the paper detecting sensor 30 and thus resupply can be done. Therefore a movable range of this cover is reducible in this way.</p> |
